"Naked" is an exploration in loose strokes and where highlights lie in a stark darkness of indigos. Done completely using palette knife, she developed by layering thick shades and creating chaos as she becomes an ambiguous, faceless figure. 

~ An expressive piece made using Plathlo Blue, Indigo Blue, Mars Black, Titanium White, and Fawn Beige.

Done by hand, in several stages, on a high-quality canvas. She does change a bit in the light because of the Mars Black. I can varnish if the collector requests this.

See video for details and process (30-second clip), slowly blending nude and white highlights together with the dramatic contrast of indigo and black melding together in the shadows. Avoiding perfection, the highlights and shadows are brisk and confident, intermixing for a figure that feels almost made of stone.

Ambiguous figure so that the face may remain a mystery.
